Office Assistant/Printer (30 hours/week, benefits)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The office assistant/printer is responsible for managing all aspects of print room function, including stocking supplies and troubleshooting maintenance issues, as well as printing major print jobs in a timely and professional manner. This position also inventories, orders and stocks office supplies as needed and provides receptionist relief during breaks and lunch. This position reports to the Administrative Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce Sunday morning and evening worship bulletins weekly.
- Print ongoing large-volume print jobs, including (but not limited to), teaching materials for courses or training, newsletters and brochures.
- Print occasional large-volume special jobs, e.g. special services, concert programs, Cornerstone Children’s Center parent manuals.
- Maintain quality standards in work produced, and troubleshoot quality issues if necessary
- Maintain print room equipment, ordering toner, etc. Arrange for professional maintenance or repair as needed.
- Maintain sufficient paper stocks for all regular needs, as well as a variety of basic paper and card stock for smaller jobs.
- Inventory church office supplies and paper weekly, reordering and stocking as needed.
- Train other employees in the use of print room equipment
- Communicate regularly with staff members regarding the status of their print jobs, especially if there are any problems.
- Be available to relieve receptionist for daily breaks and lunch.
- Entering data into the All Church Calendar.
- Maintain and stock the Welcome Cart.
- Maintain and organize files.
- Other duties as requested
Desired Skills:
- Comfort with operating equipment: Complex photocopier, tabber, folding machine, jogger, Rena label machine.
- Working knowledge of computers including MS Office Suite and internet. Any database background highly desirable.

- This position involves significant standing, bending and kneeling, and requires the ability to lift/move for short distances up to 50 pounds.
